Then i kind of just reminisced on the whole thing. Then watched it again right after on my laptop. I watched it once on my big screen in my living room. Everytime she’s on screen you can’t keep your eyes off her.Īlso shout out to Spencer Moore who upgraded from supporting role on teen drama on The CW to supporting role on a teen drama on HBO.
Highlight to me is Alice Braga, so much grace so much charisma. With that said the supporting cast seems pretty varied and center stage that I think it can be one of these show where you can tolerate the lead because everyone else is so interesting. I don’t know if it’s just me but teens being asshole/rude to their parents that’s manageable, teens being assholes/rude to any and every adults they come in contact with, pretty hard to watch. it’s not even a super nice part of Italy, it’s supposed to be like Walmart Venice or something, but the way its filmed just transport you, I’m definitely watching next episode with a rosé. It’s definitely is atmospheric and pulls you in from the very first minutes, and yes Guadagnino using his same old tricks to do that but damn it works. The cast is really good, I don’t think there will be much of general story as this seem to be a straight up character driven piece.
